The Directorate for European Integrations got assignment to notify the European Commission of BIH’s agreement to the allocation of IPA 2014 package worth EUR 15 million for the rehabilitation activities after the floods through “special measures”.
The Directorate for European Integrations is authorised to inform the European Commission that the amount of EUR 0.65 million is insufficient to support BIH participation in the EU programmes and to ask for a writing-off of entry tickets, having regard of heavy aftermaths and material damage BIH has sustained in the floods.
The Council of Ministers considered and adopted a Report on the status of preparations for use of IPA II, Draft Strategic Document for IPA for Bosnia and Herzegovina and the start-up of preparations for the 2014 National IPA Programme for Bosnia and Herzegovina.
Relevant institutions in Bosnia and Herzegovina are tasked to secure their participation in IPA 2’014 programming, to ensure needed coordination measures with all-level competent institutions, in compliance with agreed priorities, processes and deadlines.
The Directorate for European Integrations is tasked to provide the 2014 IPA Package for Bosnia and Herzegovina to the Council of Ministers for adoption, in order to enable its official submission to the European Commission by July 4, 2014, at latest.
The Council of Ministers of BIH adopted a Report of the Directorate for European Integrations on the sixth meeting of the Sub-Committee for Economic and Financial Issues and Statistics of May 13-14, 2014, held in Banjaluka.
The Central Bank of BIH is tasked to provide the latest stress-tests conducted in all banks to the directorate for European Integrations.
The Central Bank and Entity Banking Agencies should compile a single list of the outcomes of regulatory measures implemented at the BIH banking market.
A Work Group for economic and financial issues and statistics is assigned to report to the Directorate for European Integrations on measures taken towards the improvement of company registration procedure in the Federation of BIH, in addition to measures taken concerning construction permits issuance and assessment of due cuts targeting FDI attraction in Republika Srpska.
The Directorate for European Integrations will, though the Provisional Committee Secretary, provide the relevant reports to the European Commission in Brussels in English language.
Upon a proposal of the Ministry for Civil Affairs, the Council of Ministers adopted an Instruction for dealing with imports of medicines and medical equipment of humanitarian character for flood and other disasters affected areas in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
The Instruction regulates actions of competent institutions in the procedures for import of humanitarian assistance, comprised of medicines and medical equipment, granted to Bosnia and Herzegovina.
