With a view at as fast as possible fulfilment of requirements to accession to the European Union, the Council of Ministers of BIH, at its yesterdays’ session, fulfilled two more tasks from the BIH Reform Agenda Action Plan 2015-2018.

Upon a proposal of the Ministry of Finance and treasury of BIH, it defined a Set of legislation on Budget of BIH Institutions and International Obligations of BIH for 02016.

The next year’s Budget will amount KM 1,720,637,818.00.  This Draft clearly defines control and limitations of new employment, and methodology for salary reduction on a sustainable basis.

The adoption of the integrated border management for 2015-2018 is the second fulfilled task under the BIH Reform Agenda Action Plan. The Strategy would provide for a more functional and effective border management system and will ensure harmonisation with the relevant EU  regulations and standards, in addition to contributing to strengthening of partnership and improved stability in BIH and in the region.

The Council of Ministers of BIH is aware of the fact that a substantial progress in the Agenda implementation will  be required for the application for EU membership, to be considered by the European Union, therefore the BIH Reform Agenda Action Plan tasks implementation will be a priority.
