Chairman Špirić Receives Japanese Ambassador

Chairman of the Council of Ministers of B-H Dr Nikola Špirić received Ambassador of Japan to Bosnia and Herzegovina Futao Motai.

Ambassador Motai informed the Chairman that the Japanese Government approved a  USD 131 million loan for the flue gas desulfurisation in the “Ugljevik” Coal Power Plant. In that regard, Motai highlighted the commitment by Chairman Špirić to refocus the attention on this project.

 

Chairman Špirić thanked to Ambassador Motai and Japanese Government for the contribution in the environment protection activities in B-H, and pointed out that the relevant responsible institutions should now work in a speedy manner in order to secure the loan funds withdrawal. (end)
