Zvizdić-Yee: BIH Economic Development Depends on Systematic Reform Implementation

He expressed a firm commitment to reform processes, as a constituent part of the Euro-Atlantic road of Bosnia and Herzegovina. He stressed that yesterday's reform plan, adopted at the Council of Ministers session came as a product of a joint effort by three Governments and the international community, so much needed by Bosnia and Herzegovina.
Chairman Zvizdić expressed his disappointment for its unnecessary political hyping, but also his hope for a soon acceptance of the reform plan to be followed by tis signature, as the economic development of all parts of BIH depends of implementation of systematic reforms which should facilitate business-making, open ways to new grant and loan funds and enable job creation.
Deputy Assistant US Secretary of State Yee expressed a full support of the US to reform processes and Euro-Atlantic road of Bosnia and Herzegovina. He underlined that US follows with due attention developments in BIH and the region, and encouraged cooperation with countries of the region in combating organised crime and all forms of extremism.
Chairman Zvizdić noted that MAP activation is one of key priorities for BIIH, as each new step forward towards NATO means increased both internal and external stability of Bosnia and Herzegovina. He added that it would send out a positive signal to investors that BIH is a safe place to invest in.
On this occasion, he expressed appreciation to the USA as a state which is a genuine partner to Bosnia and Herzegovina in all positive projects.
The meeting was attended by US Ambassador in BIH Maureen E. Cormack.
