Zvizdić with Norwegian Ambassador on BIH

Chairman of the Council of Ministers of BIH Dr Denis Zvizidć received in an introductory visit Ambassador of the Kingdom of Norway in BIH Guri Ruseten, wishing her welcome and good cooperation. 

He said that Bosnia and Herzegovina and the Kingdom of Norway have good bilateral relations and expressed his hope that they would improve.  Chairman Zivzdić informed Ambassador Rusten on the current economic and political developments in BIH and on goals of the Council of Ministers of BIH.

Ambassador Rusten said the Kingdom of Norway supports BIH on its way towards the European Union and NATO. She commended the progress of Bosnia and Herzegovina in the implementation of reform processes, and emphasised the importance of regional cooperation, noting the recent visit of the Council of Ministers of BIH delegation to the Government of the Republic of Serbia.

Chairman Zvizdić said Norway falls within a group of major donors in BIH, expressing his hope that the cooperation would continue by way of all forms of economic cooperation. He stressed a possibility of cooperation in the areas of agriculture, wood processing industry, tourism, civil construction, hydro-energy, and welcomed a possibility for transfer of knowledge though opening business-incubation centres, like one opened in Tuzla, with the support of the Kingdom of Norway.

Chairman Zvizdić wished Ambassador Rusten success in her work and in accomplishing her mission in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
