The Chairman informed President Sulz of the Council of Ministers activities for acceleration of progressing along the European way of BIH. He stressed that a reform agenda has been already adopted, and that today’s session of the Council of Ministers adopted Framework Transport Policy of BIH for 2015-2020, with a view at creating an economic and effective transport system harmonised with EU standards and WTO rules, which would give a chance to BIH to finance development of infrastructure projects under IPA II funds.

President Sulz said that Bosnia and Herzegovina is a part of Europe and that its place is in the EU. He said that the EU is committed to stability of BIH, as a foundation of regional stability, which would be achieved through economic growth and youth employment, as it is the best way of prevention of any form of radicalisation and stabilisation.

Chairman Zvizdić noted that the Council of Ministers remains committed to the EU integrations, economic development, rule of law and as early as possible activation of MAP for NATO. He said that if the current dynamics of activities would continue, it might be expected to full a credible application of BIH for the EU membership by the end of this or beginning of next year.

“Our priorities are the economic development and youth employment, and we are fully aware that with stability missing, there would not be a substantial economic development either. BIH needs peace and regional cooperation, more than ever”, Chairman Zvizdić said.
