Chairman of the Council of Ministers of BIH Dr Denis Zvizdić talked in Sarajevo with Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Georgia Mikheil Janelidze. 

Relations between the two countries were concluded to be friendly and without outstanding issues, although there is space for their improvement.

Chairman Zvizdić informed Minister Janelidze on the current political developments in BIH and the region. He said that the Council of Ministers is focused to reform processes aiming acceleration of the European integrations, improvement of investment climate and FDI attraction, to result in the improvement of citizens’ living standard. He mentioned that Bosnia and Herzegovina has submitted its answers to the European Commission Questionnaire, expecting the candidate status soon. He added that Bosnia and Herzegovina is an active participant in all regional initiatives, having the aim of securing peace, stability and economic development of the region.

Chairman Zvizdić expressed the interest of BH side for the improvement of political and economic relations with Georgia. He said that politics may, by way of contractual regulation of relations, build bridges for businessmen to achieve better cooperation, and that the Council of Ministers of BIH is always ready to support the business community.
