Zvizdić – Hahn: String Interest of EU for Accession of Western Balkans Countries

Chairman of the Council of Ministers of BIH Dr Denis Zvizidć met at the margins of the Western Balkan Countries Summit with Commissioner for European Neighbour Policy and Enlargement Negotiations Johennes Hahn. 

Chairman Zvizdić informed Commissioner Hahn of hte current political developments in BIH and of implementationof requirements on tis way towards hte EU.

Commissioner Hahn commended the progress made by BIH, noting the adoption of the Reform Agenda, together with the Labour Law in the Federation of BIH and signing of the Agreement on Border with Montene4gro. He said that BIH engagement in preparation of the Western Balkan Countries Summit was very constructive, and as such recognised by all Summit participants. He emphasised that the European Union has a strong interest for all Western Balkan countries to be members of the European Union, therefore they should continue their work on agreed-to reforms.

Chairman Zvizdić invited Commissioner Hahn to visit BIH soon.

The meeting was attended by Deputy Chairman and Minister of Foreign Trade and Economic relations Mirko Šarović.
