Zvizdić – Chunfeng: economic development as Key Priority

Chairman of the Council of Ministers of BIH dr Denis Zvizdić received in a visit Chinese Ambassador in BIH Dong Chunfeng, where he briefed him of goals of the Council of Ministers work. 

He said that the key priority is the economic development for which the Council of Ministers of BIH will work intensively in order to promote cooperation with the countries with which we have good economic relations. He stressed that BIH wants to open its doors to foreign investments, and the role of the Council of Ministers in that regard would be to secure proper conditions for that to take place. He emphasised the importance of twenty-year long track record of good cooperation with the People’s Republic of China, underlining his hopes that it will keep improving.

Ambassador Chunfeng congratulated to Chairman Zvizdić for his appointment, and said that China will continue to support BIH on its way to the European Union, emphasising that China has reached an understanding with the European Union to support the Western Balkan countries in construction of their road infrastructure. He invited Chairman Zvizdić at the 4^th Prime Ministers Conference to be held in Beijing this September.

Stressing the fact that bilateral relations of China and BIH have been very good for twenty years now, Chairman said that he would be happy to attend the event and present projects relevant to the State of BIH.

The agreed about great significance of the economic-educational cooperation, for which there are many possibilities for improvement.
