Zvizdić – Boldrini: To Strengthen Institutional Relations of BIH and Italy

Chairman of the Council of Ministers do BIH Dr Denis Zvizdić talked in Sarajevo with President of the House of Representatives of the Republic of Italy Parliament Laura Boldrini, who is in an official visit to Bosnia and Herzegovina. 

On this occasion, Chairman Zvizdić informed President Boldrini of the current political situation in BIH and goals of the Council of Ministers, expressing his gratitude for everything Italy does for BIH.

President Boldrini said she came to Bosnia and Herzegovina in order to spur institutional relations between Italy and BIH. Speaking of the 20^th anniversary of genocide in Srebrenica, she stressed that efforts should be taken in order to come to truth and justice in BIH, which is an inevitable step in order to achieve reconciliation.

President Boldrini note a necessity to realise agreed-to reforms, and informed Chairman Zvizdić of a Protocol she handed over to members of the House of Representatives of the BIH Parliamentarian Assembly, meant to strengthen relations between Parliaments of Italy and Bosnia and Herzegovina.

Chairman Zvizdić expressed his hope that that support of Italy would continue in future and that it will be even stronger.

The meeting was attended by Ambassador of the Republic fo Italy in BIH Rugero Corrias.
