Vrankić Talks to with Russian Ambassador in B-H Botsan-Kharchenko



Deputy Chairman of the Council of Ministers of B-H and Minister of Finance and Treasury Dragan Vrankić and Ambassador of the Russian Federation in B-H Aleksandar Botsan- Kharchenko discussed the improvement of economic cooperation between the two countries, and in regard to that they both expressed interest and readiness for removal of the existing administrative barriers.

A need was stressed for an early signing of a Double Taxation Avoidance Agreement, which would facilitate the movement of goods and capital in both directions and secure increased investments into economy. For final adjustment of the Agreement, initialled on 2006, an official confirmation of a working meeting date is expected from Moscow.

On solving the issue of clearing debt, it was said that “there is a fair degree of agreement among the parties concerned.”
