The Chairman of Council of Ministers of B-H Talks with IMF Representatives

Chairman of the Council of Ministers of Bosnia and Herzegovina dr Nikola Špirić talked with Head of IMF Mission Costas Hristou and IMF Resident representative Milan Cuc in Banja Luka. 

At the end of a seven day visit to Bosnia and Herzegovina, Head of IMF Delegation Hristou shared his observations with Chairman Špirić concerning macroeconomic indicators of B-H.

Chairman Špirić raised his concern for the absence of a unique viewpoint in B-H in view of  the prospective future cooperation with the IMF.

The counterparts agreed over the necessity of continuation of structural reforms implementation to ensure economic recovery and attraction of foreign direct investment. In that regard, Chairman Špirić expressed his hope that all-level authorities in B-H will demonstrate needed seriousness to secure, as appropriate, the continuation of cooperation with IMF. (end)
