Špirić Talks to US Ambassador in BIH



Deputy Chairman of the Council of Ministers of BIH and Minister of Finance and Treasury Dr Nikola Špirić received today US Ambassador in BIH Patrick Moon.

The main topics of discussion were the economic issues and necessary reforms to be implemented within the Arrangement with the International Monetary Fund and for the purpose of recovery of real sector and achieving financial sustainability.

Minister Špirić informed Ambassador Moon of the launched activities in the of the BIH Indirect Taxation Administration Steering Board so as to improve collection of indirect tax revenues and millions worth receivables, on which Steering Board will hold a special thematic session.

Ambassador Moon briefed Minister Špirić on reform activities concerning the Constitution of the Federation of BIH, and of his recent visit to Drvar, where he met with Serb returnees to the region, expressing his readiness to assist in their efforts to improve their difficult economic position in this Canton.
