Deputy Chairman of the council of Ministers and Minister of Finance and Treasury of BIH Nikola Špirić received in Sarajevo Head of EBRD Office in Sarajevo Libor Krkoska, with whom he addressed various models of future cooperation between BIH and the EBRD.
Krkoska briefed Minister Špirić on EBRD activities in terms of disbursement if already approved funds for public sector projects and on implementation of new infrastructure projects.
Underlining that the EBRD acts as a significant creditor in BIH, Minister Špirić raised a necessity of creation of conditions for a more expedient funds withdrawal for earlier approved projects.
They exchanged opinions and positions regarding macroeconomic prognoses and challenges to BIH’s economic and financial sector. (end)
