Signed Memorandum on Settlement of Debt Based on Commodity Exchange between Republic of Albania and Ex-Yugoslav Countries

A Memorandum between the Council of Ministers of the Republic of Albania and Council of Ministers of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Government of the Republic of Macedonia, Government of the Republic of Serbia, Government of the Republic of Slovenia, Government of the Republic of Croatia, and Government of the Republic of Montenegro on Settlement of Debt of the Republic of Albania Based on Commodity Exchange between the Republic of Albania and Ex Socialist Federative Republic of Yugoslavia, was signed in Tirana.
On behalf of Bosnia and Herzegovina, the Memorandum was signed by Ljubiša Vladušić, the authorised B-H representative in the Committee for Annex C of the Agreement of Succession Issues, and on behalf of the Republic of Albania, by Xhentil Demiraj, the authorised representative.
Under this Memorandum, Bosnia and Herzegovina receives USD 3.69 million, as 15.5 per cent of succession proceeds of USD 23.8 million, which is the total amount of this debt.
The negotiators stressed that the bilateral talks to be held early next year in Sarajevo would settle the mode of effectuation of this obligation.
Other than authorised representative of B-H for Annex C of the Agreement of Succession Issues Ljubiša Vladušić, B-H was also represented by Assistant Minister of Finance and Treasury for Succession Issues Zenit Kelić.
