Process Launched for Replacement of SDA Ministers and Deputy Ministers

Upon an initiative of the Social-Democratic Party of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Chairman of the Council of Ministers of BIH Vjekoslav Bevanda provided to the Parliamentarian Assembly of Bosnia and Herzegovina a Decision on Replacement of Minister of Security of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Minister of Defence of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Deputy Minister of Finance and Treasury of Bosnia and Herzegovina, that he took pursuant to Article 15 of the Law on the Council of Ministers of Bosnia and Herzegovina (“Official Gazette of BIH”, Nos. 30/03, 42/03, 81/06, 76/07, 81/07, 94/07 and 24/08), under which: 

“The Chairman of the Council of Ministers may launch a procedure for replacement of a Minister of Deputy Minister. If the Parliamentarian Assembly takes a decision to confirm the replacement of such Minister of Deputy Minister, the Chairman of the Council of Ministers is obliged, in accordance with Article 10 of the present Law, to appoint a new Minister or Deputy Minister”.

The decision is required to be included into the agenda of the next session of the House of representatives of the Parliamentarian Assembly of BIH for the enactment of the confirmation of replacement of the Ministers and Deputy Ministers in the Council of Ministers of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
