Chairman of the Council of Ministers receives Swedish Ambassador

The Chairman of the Council of Ministers PhD Nikola Špirić received today in Sarajevo Bo William Hedberg, the Ambassador of the Kingdom of Sweden in BiH, the country that will preside the European Union from 1 July to 31 December 2009.

The Chairman Špirić and ambassador Hedberg were talking about the European perspective of Bosnia and Herzegovina, with particular emphasis on the current priority of BiH - liberalization of visa regime for BiH citizens.

Chairman Špirić requested the support of Sweden in this process and emphasized that "the white schengen" for citizens of Bosnia and Herzegovina meant further strengthening of European ideas within BiH and stimulus to those forces that are truly dedicated to these processes.

Špirić expressed the hope that at the tomorrow session of the Council of Ministers would be ratified the law texts from the Road Map to liberalize the visa regime.
