Chairwoman of CoMBIH Borjana Krišto at WEF in Davos

The second day of participation at the World Economic Forum in Davos, Chairwoman of the Council of Ministers of Bosnia and Herzegovina Borjana Krišto continued with her intensive meetings and activities, directed to strengthening of international partnerships and positioning of Bosnia and Herzegovina in the new European and global context.
The day started with an address by German Chancellor Friedrich Merz, where a need for stronger and more decisive Europe was highlighted in facing the existing geopolitical challenges, to boost security, competitiveness and perseverance of European unity.
Within the Forum, the Chairwoman of the Council of Ministers of Bosnia and Herzegovina took part in signing of Charter on Peace, and in starting of a Board of Peace Initiative, the presentation of which was attended by President of the United States of America Donald J. Trump and other world leaders. At the margins of the Charter on Peace signing, the Chairwoman held talks with US Secretary of State Marc Rubi, on which occasion a commitment of Bosnia and Herzegovina was reaffirmed to dialogue, peace and responsible partnership in strengthening global stability.
During the day, numerous bilateral meetings were held with European and regional leaders, among which with President of Government of the Republic of North Macedonia Hristian Mickoski, President of the Republic of Serbia Aleksandar Vučić, European Commissioner for Enlargement Marta Kos, and others.
A special emphasis was put on talks with commissioner Marta Kos, when an urgency pointed out of fulfilment of remaining requirements for Bosnia and Herzegovina to get as soon as possible the date of the first inter-government conference. The Chairwoman noted the real political will of Bosnia and Herzegovina to make required breakthroughs, alo9ng with a need to recognise efforts made to date and maintain credibility of the European prospective of our country.
Participation of Bosnia and Herzegovina at the World Economic Forum in Davos confirms its real dedication to dialogue, cooperation and the European prosepct, as well as readiness to be an active and reliable partner in shaping up more stable, secure and prosperous future of Europe and the world.
