Chairwoman of CoMBIH Borjana Krišto at WEF in Davos

Chairwoman of the Council of Ministers of Bosnia and Herzegovina started her participation today at the 56th World Economic Forum in Davos, taking place this year under the title “Spirit of Dialogue”.

The Programme of today’s Form was marked by discussion of world leaders on strengthening of international cooperation in all more the complex geopolitical environment, new sources of economic growth, investment in people, accountable use of technology, AI in particular, and sustainable development and climate change.

Relevant bilateral meetings were held at the Forum margins with European and regional leaders. The Chairwoman took part at a discussion titled “Restoring of spirit of dialogue in the divided world”.

In the centre of all discussion an emphasise was put on the European road of Bosnia and Herzegovina, stability of the region and concrete steps required for opening of accession negotiations with the European Union.

A special attention was drawn to address by President of the Untied States of America Donald Trump, who additionally highlighted the linkage of global security, economy and living standard.

The participation of Bosnia and Herzegovina at this year’s Forum proves dedication of our country tor dialogue, cooperation, European perspective, as well as readiness to take an active part in discussions on future of Europe and world. (end)
