Chairwoman of Council of Ministers of BIH Borjana Krišto Held Meeting with Charge d' Affairs of US Embassy in BIH John Ginkel

Chairwoman of the Council of Ministers of Bosnia and Herzegovina Borjana Krišto held a meeting with Charge d’ Affairs of Embassy of the United States of America in Bosnia and Herzegovina John Ginkel.

The meeting discussed the current political developments in the country, reform processes and further strengthening of cooperation between Bosnia and Herzegovina and the United States do America. Chairwoman Krišto thanked to the USA to a long-time support to Bosnia and Herzegovina, especially in implementation of key reforms and maintenance of peace and stability.

She pointed out that Bosnia and Herzegovina remains firmly dedicated to its Euro-Atlantic road, and that partnership and cooperation with the United States of America are of an extreme importance in implementation of strategic aims of the country. She emphasised that a joint work on institutional strengthening, rule of law and economic development represents a foundation of stable and successful BIH.

In the light of signing the 30th anniversary of signing of the Dayton Peace Agreement, Chairwoman Krišto highlighted the importance of a constructive approach and dialogue in solution finding which contribute to permanent peace and stability. The meeting agreed that a continuous engagement and partnership are key for progressing of Bosnia and Herzegovina on the Euro-Atlantic integration. (end)
