Council of Ministers of Bosnia and Herzegovina Holds Its 75th Extraordinary, Phone Session

The Council of Ministers of Bosna and Herzegovina defined a Proposal Platform for negotiations on an Agreement between Bosnia and Herzegovina and the Republic of Croatia on Construction of a “Gas Interconnection of Bosnia and Herzegovina and Republic of Croatia” – in section Zagvozd (Croatia) – Posušje (BIH) – Novi Travnik/Travnik with section for Mostar.
The Chairwoman of the Council of Ministers od Bosnia and Herzegovina was authorised to sign the Agreement.
The Agreement regulates the basics of cooperation and joint development of interconnection (each party on its side) in Zgvozd (Republic of Croatia) – Posušje (Bosnia and Herzegovina) – Tomislavgrad – Šuica – Kupres – Bugojno – Novi Travnik/Travnik and Posušje – Grude – Široki Brijeg – Mostar, with a section towards Livno, Gornji Vakuf-Uskoplje, Donji Vakuf and jajce, including section for Čapljina, an additional section towards Kladanj -Tuzla in Bosnia and Herzegovina and a gas pipeline Split – Zgvozd in the Republic of Croatia.
The Council of Ministers of BIH designated the negotiating delegation in the following composition: Minister of Foreign Trade and Economic Relations of Bosnia and Herzegovina or his designee (head of delegation); Minister of Foreign Affairs of Bosnia and Herzegovina or a person designed by the head of delegation; Minister do Finance and Treasury of Bosnia and Herzegovina or his designee (member of delegation); Minister of Energy, Mining and Industry of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina or his designee (member of delegation); Minister of Environment and Tourism of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina or his designee (member of delegation); Minister of Finance of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina or his designee (member of delegation); and Minister of Justice of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina or his designee (member of delegation).
The Ministry of Foreign Trade and Economic Relations of Bosna and Herzegovina should send the Proposal Platform to the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina for further legal procedure, with a proposal for the Chairwoman of the Council of Ministers of Bosnia and Herzegovina as the Agreement signatory.
