Minister Vrankić in Talks with World Bank Delegation



Deputy Chairman of the Council of Ministers of Bosnia and Herzegovina and Minister of Finance and Treasury Dragan Vrankić held a meeting in Sarajevo today with representatives of the World Bank, headed by a leading country economist Ronald Hood. They discussed the state of fulfilment of the conditions of Bosnia and Herzegovina for the first part of Budget Support Loan (DPL 1) and the preparations for the second part of the Loan (DPL 2).

The consistent and full implementation of the defined conditions for the DLP Loan by all level of authorities is assessed as a key for improvement of quality of public finances and establishment of fiscal sustainability in Bosnia and Herzegovina.

Minister Vrankić informed the World Bank delegation of the activities conducted by the Ministry of Finance and Treasury in the areas included in the DPL Loan. Technical level meetings of the two institutions were agreed to be held within the process of preparations of conditions for the second part of the Budget Support Loan (DLP 2).
