Minister Špirić Receives Representatives of EU Delegation in BIH



Deputy Chairman of the Council of Ministers of BIH and Minister of Finance and Treasury dr.  Nikola Špirić received today representatives of the EU Delegation in BIH, led by Head of the Operations Department Holger Schroeder, and the main topic of their discussion was a financial support to judicial reform and war crimes processing.

Minister Špirić said that judicial institutions at BIH level are independent in every sense, and that besides economic crisis and savings in this year's budget, they were allocated sufficient resources for smooth operation.

The Minister of Finance and Treasury of BIH reminded that BIH has an arrangement with the International Monetary Fund, based on which the employing in BIH institutions is to be curbed-up in 2013, which would not have negative impact to their functioning.

Schroeder said that the projects in the field of judiciary, especially war crimes processing, at all levels might be supported through IPA funds, and that such an option should be taken into consideration.
