Minister Špirić Receives Newly-Appointed Ambassadors

Deputy Chairman of the Council of Ministers of BIH and Minister of Finance and Treasury Dr Nikola Špirić received today newly-appointed ambassadors of BIH, and wished them success in their assignment, with a recommendation to take an effort to incorporate economic diplomacy into their priorities.
Minister Špirić talked with Jadranka Negodić BIH Ambassador in Washington-USA, Mirsada Čolaković Head of BIH Permanent Mission in the UN, Željko Janjetović BIH Ambassador in Hungary, Darko Zelenika BiH Ambassador in the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, Ahmet Halilović BIH Ambassador in the Kingdom of Netherlands, Emir Poljo BIH Ambassador in the Kingdom of Norway, and Hrvoje Kanta General Consul in Istanbul.
They agreed that the global economic crisis has affected all parts of societies, narrowing the space of activities, also in the field of economic activities, which is directly linked to political developments in BIH.
Minister Špirić informed the newly-appointed ambassadors of the 2012 Budget adoption process, which calls for a series of savings in administration.
BIH Ambassadors in Hungary and Norway Željko Janjetović and Emir Poljo reminded that BIH has got a residence building in Budapest and Embassy building in Oslo, based on the Agreement on Succession Issues of Ex-SFRY, so that, the issue of rental costs, with certain investments would be solved.
