Minister Špirić Receives IMF Delegation



Deputy Chairman of the Council of Ministers and Minister of Finance and Treasury Dr Nikola Špirić received today a delegation of the International Monetary Fund, led by Head of the IMF Mission in BIH Costas Christou.

Minister Špirić informed the IMF delegation of the 2012 BIH Budget adoption process, and expressed his expectations that the parliamentarian adoption procedures as to the 2012 Budget will be completed by the end of this month.

Christou said that he expects BIH to speak with one voice concerning an arrangement with the IMF, and reminded that the existing Stand-By Arrangement expires for a month and an half, the effects of which will be ta topic of his discussion with BIH, Republika Srpska and Federation of BIH authorities during his two month long stay in BIH.

Today’s meeting was attended by Executive Director the IMF/WB Dutch Constituency Menno Snel.
