Deputy Chairman of the Council of Ministers of BIH and Minister of Finance and Treasury Dr Nikola Špirić met in Sarajevo today with Ambassador of the Republic of Macedonia in BIH Rami Rexhepi.
They agreed that BIH and Macedonia have good bilateral relations that need to be additionally enhanced through inter-governmental treaties, among them being a Double Taxation Avoidance Agreement. Špirić and Rexhepi agreed that the process of signing and ratification of inter-governmental treaties already in procedure needs to be expedited, which would create a favourable environment for strengthening of economic ties between BIH and Macedonia.
The meeting stressed that BIH and Macedonia have the same goal in respect to European integrations, and the fastest way to the EU is the implementation of necessary reforms.
