Deputy Chairman of the Council of Ministers of BIH and Minister of Finance and Treasury of BIH Nikola Špirić met with Ambassador of the Republic of Croatia in BIH Tonči Stančić in Sarajevo.
Minister Špirić assessed that the relations between the two countries are good neighbourly relations, underlining the importance of an upward trend in cooperation between BIH and the Republic of Croatia. Špirić said that all outstanding issues in the region should be solved in the spirit of dialogue, tolerance and in the context of the EU integration efforts.
The interlocutors exchanged their opinion on concrete models of enhancing bilateral relations, especially economic cooperation. They mentioned a need to increase the level of cooperation of sector Ministries in their operative activities, for the benefit of both countries.
Among discussed topics was the up-coming visit of Prime Minister of the Republic of Croatia Zoran Milanović to Bosnia and Herzegovina.
Ambassador Staničić congratulated to Minister Špirić for his appointment and wished all success in his future work.
