Minister Jusko with Minister Mihajlović: Traffic Connection and Projects in Interest of All Citizens of BIH and Serbia

A joint meeting of delegations of the Republic of Serbia and of Bosnia and Herzegovina in Belgrade, led by Prime Minister of the Republic of Serbia Aleksandar Vučić and Chairman of the Council of Ministers of BIH Denis Zvizdić, respectively, was followed by bilateral meetings of sector Ministers.
Minister of Communications and Transport of Bosnia and Herzegovina Ismir Jusko with his closest associates held a meeting with a delegation of the Ministry of Construction, Transport and Infrastructure of the Republic of Serbia, led by Minister Zorana Mihajlović.
The meeting discussed, a topic of a particular relevance, the issues of construction of a joint border-crossing Bratunac-Ljubovija, preparations for signing of agreements on use and maintenance of joint bridges, increase of certificates contingent for cargo transport to the third countries, finalisation of activities on signing of an agreement on delegating responsibilities for air navigation service provision, joint meeting of competent inspectorates, activities on revitalisation of railway track Sarajevo-Belgrade, and revision of an agreement on railway border-crossings.
Following a detailed analysis of all of the items, a conclusion was made that there is a shared interest for as soon as possible realisation thereof, and a need was stressed for a continuous cooperation and holding of meetings at this level, where the existing activities would be analysed and new ones planned for the benefit of all citizens of Bosnia and Herzegovina and the Republic of Serbia.
When it comes to a fast road or motorway to connect Belgrade and Sarajevo, a mutual support was noted to an initiative for a trilateral meeting of Turkey, Serbia and BIH, while Bosnia and Herzegovina will launch consultations in the next 30 days with competent bodies on the issue of optimal track, and will inform the Serbian side accordingly.
