Minister Hadžić with Entity Ministers on Corridor V c



Minister of Communications and Transport of BIH Damir Hadžić talked in Sarajevo today with line Entity Ministers of Transport and Communications , Enver Bijedić from the FBIH and Nedeljko Ćubrilović from RS, respectively, on prospects for funding of infrastructural projects in BIH.

Minister Ćubrilović informed the meeting that Republika Srpska will present a Public Private Partnership Project of Doboj-Vukosavlje Motorway on the Corridor V c, at EBRD London Office, on September 6.

Since the Federation of BIH plans the construction of Doboj-Zenica road, these two sections along the Corridor V c should be treated as a single project, which should be represented jointly to prospective foreign investors.

Minister Hadžić said that the developed infrastructure represents a precondition for economic growth, and that the Ministry of Communications and Transport of BIH will support this joint project with all the resources available to it.

The meeting also discussed the Agency for Postal Operations in BIH and operations of the Post of RS and Post of FBIH. Undertaking of necessary activities was agreed to step-up  supervision processes and increase their revenues.

Minister Hadžić informed the meeting of activities concerning taking over control over BIH skies.

He said that the State Agency for Sky Control should start its operation by the end of this year, and that BIH would eventually take over control of skies above BIH by the end of the first quarter of 2013.

The meeting was attended by representatives of the Public Company Motorways of FBIH and Public Company Motorways of RS.
