Minister of Transport and Communication of BIH Damir Hadžić received in Sarajevo today Ambassador of Montenegro Dragan Đurović, who congratulated him to appointment and wished him success in his work.
Thanking for the congratulations, Minister Hadžić said that the relations between BIH and Montenegro are open and good neighbourly and that both countries share a joint political goal of Euro-Atlantic integrations. He said that the development and linking of transport infrastructure in country is a requirement for economic improvement.
It is of a joint interest for Bosnia and Herzgovina and Montenegro to speed up construction of the Adriatic-Ionian motorway and to solve its connection to the Corridor V c, in order to integrate the region into the European communication network, said Minister Hadžić.
Ambassador Džurić said that, as far as communication and transport sector is concerned, Montenegro deals with the same issues as Bosnia and Hezrgovina does. “Priorities of Montenegro are development of modern motorways network, taking over air space control and digitalisation”, said Ambassador Đurović, underlining that a joint work and exchange of experiences might accelerate these processes.
Minister Hadžić informed Ambassador Đurović that Bosnia and Herzegovina undertakes the last preparations for entering into the final stage of taking over the air space control.
