Deputy Chairman of the Council of Ministers of Bosnia and Herzegovina and Minister of Finance and Treasury Dr Nikola Špirić received in Sarajevo today Ambassador of the Federal Republic of Germany in BIH Urlike Knoc
Ambassador Knoc congratulated to Minister Špirić for his appointment. Špirić assessed that a new momentum created following the establishment of the Council of Ministers of BIH and adoption of pieces of legislation relevant to the European integrations process needs to be capitalised on.
Minister Špirić informed Ambassador Knoc of his priorities at his duty in the Ministry of Finance and Treasury, focusing on the 2012 Budget and 2012-2014 Global Fiscal Framework drafting. Špirić said that these issues are utterly important also from the prospect of submitting a credible application for candidate status, which should not be a subject of political games, but profession.
The meeting discussed modalities for improvement of cooperation between BIH and FR Germany, with an especial emphasis on the projects developed in BIH, in cooperation with the German Development Bank.
