MEETING OF DEPUTY MINISTER OF FINANCE AND TREASURY WITH RERPESENTATIVES OF RETIRED SOLIDERS



Regarding the application of a Law on Supplements to the Law on Service in the Armed Forces of Bosnia and Herzegovina, the soldiers who attained a right to retirements, met today at the Ministry of Finance and Treasury of B-H with Deputy Minister of Finance and Treasury Fuad Kasumović and Assistant Ministers for Budget and Treasury Vlatko Dugandžić and Sehija Mujkanović. The soldiers were represented by Šemsudin Pojata, Slavenko Dodik, Semir Mujstanbegović, Senad Hubijer and Rade Dželetivić.

The meeting achieved an agreement that the Ministry of Defence of B-H - which had been  obliged, but failed,  to plan funds for implementation of the Law on the Supplements to the Law on Service in Armed Forces in Bosnia and Herzegovina in its final 2011 Budget Request, and that with precise data on total required funds, including payments to two Entity Pension Funds, based on detailed data on number of beneficiaries, level of pensions and dynamics of payments throughout the implementation of the Law - provide these data officially to the Ministry of Finance and Treasury until February 18 at 15.00 hrs.

The Ministry of Finance and Treasury will offer all needed technical support to the Ministry of Defence, which is due to supply these data to the Council of Ministers of B-H, for their inclusion  as the Ministry of Defence item of the Draft Budge of B-H Institutions for 2001.
