Meeting of Chairwoman Borjana Krišto and President of European Commission Ursula Von Der Leyen

President of the European Commission Ursula Von der Leyen stayed in an official visit to Bosnia and Herzegovina, within which she held a meeting with Chairwoman of the Council of Ministers oof BIH Borjana Krišto. 

The meeting discussed activities on the European road of our country, current developments in our country, region and the European Union, and bilateral moves. Chairwoman Krišto briefed President Von der Leyen on key topics at the Council of Ministers level, as well as relevant aspects of activities, especially those to be taken by the end of this year. Despite all challenges, the Council of Ministers has worked continuously in that direction, and the adopted Reform Agenda and Reforms List are the best proof that the institution will keep on doing everything under tis competences to take the most important steps on the European road.

The high political officials agreed that the time of holding an inter-government conference is getting closer, by which Bosnia and Herzegovina would officially open the negotiating process, and that signifies the new chapter in strategic relations between BIH and the EU.

The meeting also discussed the up-coming Berlin process gathering, as an extremely important regional initiative featuring multiple stakeholders for integration of the region to the EU, especially through common regional market, as one of core pillars of the Growth Plan.
