Hadžić – Janakieski: To Reopen Investigation on Death of Trajkovski



Minister of Communications and Transport of BIH Damir Hadžić met in Sarajevo with a delegation of the Republic of Macedonia, led by Minister of Transport and Communications Mile Janakieski.

Minister Janakieski presented to Minister Hadžić a document containing new findings on a   crash of Beechcraft Super King Air 200 Z3-BAB aircraft on February 26, 2004 at Rotimlje, near Mostar, in which Macedonian President Boris Trajkovski and his assistants were killed. He handed over an official proposal to Minister Hadžić for reopening of investigation, and proposed formation of a joint work group to conduct the investigation.

Minister Hadžić said that it is in the interest of Bosnia and Herzegovina to have the investigation completed, so as to cease with speculations on causes of plane crash, vowing his consent to reopen het investigation.

The joint work group to be comprised of Bosnia and Herzegovina and Macedonian experts should be set-up, and is expected to draw tis first report by the end of September.
