Fiscal Council of BIH in Its 2nd Session

The second session of the Fiscal Council of BIH, chaired over by Chairman Dr Denis Zvizdić, and an IMF Delegation, led by Head of Mission in BIH Ron van Rooden, also took part in it. 

Among items, the session considered and adopted the 2015-2019 Global Framework of Fiscal Balance and Policies. This defined a budget framework of BIH Institutions for years 2016, 2017 and 2018 to amount to KM 950 million, which includes revenues from the Indirect Taxation Administration in amount of KM 750 million.

A proposal Letter of Intent was also discussed at the session, and talks were agreed to continue next week,

The IMF Mission is in BIH from June 10 for discussions with BIH authorities on prospects for a new arrangement to help overcome financial needs and support structural reforms programme.

The session was attended by Ruben Atojan, IMF Resident Representative in BIH.
