Fiscal Council of B-H Holds Its 22nd Session

The Fiscal Council of B-H held its 22nd session in Sarajevo today, at which it discussed the B-H Fiscal Balance and Policies Global Framework for 2011-2013 and General Budget for 2011. 

It was concluded that the B-H Fiscal Council Advisory Group should, make, within 15 days, additional analyses of possible adjustments within the policies agreed under the Stand-By Arrangement, in order to ensure all-level Budget frameworks to be set on realistic foundations. The Finance Ministers of B-H, Republika Srpska and Federation of B-H will propose the agreed to Budget framework, based on the analyses conducted.

Also, the Fiscal Council supported an initiative to start the reconciliation process between the Entities, based on the indirect tax revenue allocation, so the Indirect Taxation Administration is tasked to define deadlines for finalisation of these activities. (end)
