Deputy Chairman of the Council of Ministers and Foreign Minister of Bosnia and Herzegovina Dr. Zlatko Lagumdžija and Foreign Minister of the Republic of Macedonia Nikola Poposki signed in Sarajevo, a Protocol on Cooperation in Diplomatic Training between the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Bosnia and Herzegovina and Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Macedonia.

After the signing, Dr. Lagumdžija and Minister Poposki emphasised the importance of the signed Protocol, assessing that it will contribute considerably to the improvement of cooperation between the two Ministries in the area of education of diplomatic staff, especially in the view of exchange of experiences and methodological approach to diplomats’ training, joint seminars and improvement of knowledge. They stressed the importance of regular bilateral political consultations between the two Ministires.

Dr. Lagumdžija and Minister Poposki assessed that the relations between BIH and Macedonia are very good and friendly, without outstanding issues. They expressed the interest of the two countries for the improvement of bilateral relations and economic cooperation, as evidenced through intensive meetings of high officials at both bilateral and regional level, and vowing their expectations that the existing dynamics of exchange of visits will be continued.
