Council of Ministers of Bosnia and Herzegovina Holds tis 58th Extraordinary Session

MEAL COMPENSATION IN BIH ISNITTUTIONS ALIGNED WITH COLLECTIVE AGREEMENT 

The Council of Ministers of BIH took the Ministry of Finance and Treasury-proposed Decision on Level of Meal Compensation to Employees in Institutions of Bosnia and Herzegovina, in accordance with the Law on Salaries and Reimbursements in Institutions of Bosnia and Herzegovina and Collective Agreement for Employees in BIH Institutions.

According to the Decision, employees in Institutions of Bosnia and Herzegovina are entitled to a cash compensation for meal during work hours at the level of 2 per cent of basic salary, applied to employees in a month when salary is accounted for each day spent on work.

The Decision will be applied form July 1, 2025 on, when the meal compensation to employees will increase for KM 1 for each day spent on work, and will be KM 12, instead of previous KM 11. (end)
