The Council of Ministers of BIH defined Proposal Basics for negotiations and conclusion of an Agreement between the Council of Ministers of Bosnia and Herzegovina and Government of the United States of America on Exchange and Mutual Protection of Classified Data, for securing classified data protection exchanged by the two states, i.e. for security provision to both legal and natural persons within their respective competences. The data are classified as very secretive, secretive, confidential, and internal. 

Earlier, the Council of Ministers of BIH defined Proposal Basics for negotiations and conclusion of an Agreement between the Council of Ministers if Bosnia and Herzegovina and Government of the Republic of Portugal on Exchange and Mutual Protection of Classified Data.

The Ministry of Security will provide the individual Proposal Basics to the Presidency of BIH for further procedure, and Security Minister Fahrudin Radončić is proposed as the signatory of the agreements.

The Council of Ministers of BIH granted its consent for an exchange of notes for Japanese Government Grant Aid between the Council of Ministers of Bosnia and Herzegovina and Government of Japan for the procurement of EUR three million meteorological equipment needed for natural disaster protection.

The agreement refers to a delivery of project-specified technical equipment, i.e. meteorological developments monitoring equipment, with equipment for meteorological surveillance at airports, heliports, roads, railways and ports, in addition to flood and water waves alert system. The project holders will be the State Ministries of Security, Civil Affairs, Foreign Trade and Economic Relations, and Communications and Transport,

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs is responsible for the exchange of notes of the agreement.

The project is being realised under a bilateral Technical Cooperation Agreement between the Council of Ministers of BIH and Government of Japan, signed in 2005.

Upon a  proposal of the Ministry of Foreign Trade and Economic Relations, the Council of Ministers appointed Enis Šantić, Muhamed Mehmedović, Branko Broš, Dragomir Kecman, and Momir Bjelica for members of the Steering Committee of the “Elektroprenos of Bosnia and Herzegovna”, jsc, Banja Luka, electric power transmission company, who will, together with still incumbent members, comprise the company’s Managing Board.
