Council of Ministers of Bosnia and Herzegovina Holds Its 69th Extraordinary, Phone Session

The Council of Ministers of BIH took the Ministry of Civil Affairs-proposed decision on funds distribution from a multi-annual Project of Co-Financing of 2025-2527 Demining Activities in Bosnia and Herzegovina for year 2025.
The Decision was adopted with nine votes for, while one member of the Council of Ministers of BIH did not use the opportunity to vote at the Council of Ministers phone session.
The total available project resources within multi-annual projects of co-financing of demining activities in Bosnia and Herzegovina are KM 650,000 and are disbursed form the Ministry of Civil Affairs budget, as follows: KM 130,000 each to the Municipality of Trnovo in Republika Srpska and City of Zvornik, KM 97,500 each to the Municipality of Bugojno and Town of Bosanska Krupa, and KM 81,000 to each the Posavina Canton and Municipality of Kiseljak, and KM 33,000 to the Municipality of Ravno.
Funds for co-financing of anti-mine action projects are distributed upon a proposal by the Mine Action Centre in BIH, according to following criteria: a canton, municipality or town project is listed as priority of Demining Plan of BIH for the current year, so the relevant canton, municipality or town should secure at least of 30% of funds allocated under the Decision on distribution of funds for project implementation.
Earlier, the Council of Ministers of BIH adopted a Decision on approving multi-annual project of co-financing of demining costs for 2025-227, worth total KM two million (KM 650,000 for each 2025 and 2026, and KM 700,000 for 2027), thus confirming its commitment for acceleration of cleansing of areas under mines in BIH.
