Council of Ministers of Bosnia and Herzegovina Holds Its 68th Extraordinary, Phone Session

FUNDS APPROVED TO IDDEEA FOR CARE REGISTRATION PLATES AND IDENTIFICATION DOCUMENTS

The Council of Ministers of BIH took unanimously the Ministry of Civil Affairs-proposed Decision to approve KM 1,589,000 from 2025 budget current reserve funds to the Identification Documents,  Evidence and Data Exchange Agency (IDDEEA).

The funds were approved for implementation of contractual obligations for car registration plates, identity documents, drivers licences and travel documents.

This enables smooth continuation of issuance of identification documents and car registration plates in Bosnia and Herzegovina, after the Law on Budget of Institutions of Bosnia and Herzegovina and international obligations of BIH for 2025 decreased the amount of approved funds to IDDEEA below the lower level of expenditures relevant to the planned funds.

IDDEEA and the Ministry of Finance and Treasury are responsible for the Decision implementation. (end)
