Council of Ministers of Bosnia and Herzegovina Holds Its 147 Session

The Council of Ministers of Bosnia and Herzegovina defined a Draft Law on Budget of B-H Institutions and International Obligations of B-H for year 2011, with some amendments adopted at the session. 

The Ministry of Finance and Treasury will provide the Draft Law to the Presidency of B-H, which is the authorised proposer of the Budget to the Parliamentarian Assembly of B-H.

The Council of Ministers of B-H adopted a Decision on Temporary Financing of Institutions of Bosnia and Herzegovina and International Obligations of Bosnia and Herzegovina for period April-June 2011, with incorporated objections that were adopted at the session.

Budget users and the Ministry of Finance and Treasury are recommended to continue with savings on all items of current expenditures , especially for entertainment, official trips, phone and similar costs.

The Council of Ministers took a Decision to accept an Increase of votes and participation of Bosnia and Herzegovina in the International Bank for Reconstruction and Development (IBRD) and International Financial Corporation (IFC).

The Council of Ministers adopted Proposal Basics for conclusion of Addendum 1 to a Financial Agreement for State Programme for Bosnia and Herzegovina – Part I under the IPA Component for 2008 for Transition and Institution Development.

The Ministry of Finance and Treasury is in charge to provide the Draft Basics to the Presidency of B-H for further procedure, with a suggestion to designate Nevenka Savić, Head of the Directorate for European Integrations, as the B-H signatory.
