Council of Ministers of BIH Ready for Reform Implementation

The Council of Ministers of BIH, Entity Governments and Bčko District Administration will present, together with the European Commission and International Financial Institutions, a clearly defined economic reforms agenda, based on BIH commitments under SAA, Agreement on Work and Employment, draft economic reforms defined at a Jahorina meeting, as well as economic reforms proposed by local governments and employers, that we are ready to implement within defined deadlines. 

In regard to expected economic reforms agenda, Chairman of the Council of Ministers Dr Denis Zvizdić said:

“The economic reforms, along with already launched public administration reforms, coordination mechanism being currently actively developed by the Council of Ministers, and credible fulfilling of SAA-related requirements, represent key activities to provide soon a key breakthrough towards the EU integrations and enable filling of a credible membership application, which would add value to the EU integrations process”.

The Council of Ministers remains fully committed to its key priorities, namely the EU integrations of BIH, improvement of business environment and competitiveness, rule of law, and internal and external stability of the state.
