Council of Ministers of BIH Holds Its Extraordinary Phone Session

EU PROVIDES EUR 700k FOR PROCUREMENT FOR RADIATION MONITORING IN BIH 

The Council of Ministers of BIH defined a Proposal Platform for conclusion of a financial agreement between Bosnia and Herzegovina and the European Union for the purpose of strengthening of capacities of the state for preparedness and response in case of a nuclear extraordinary event.

The agreement provides for the European Union finances in amount of EUR 700k for procurement of equipment needed for monitoring of radiation to the end of modernisation of the state system of monitoring and detection in BIH, including decision making support system.

The proposal Platform will be provided to the BIH Presidency for further procedure, and the Director of the State Regulatory Agency for Radiation and Nuclear Safety was proposed for the BIH signatory.

 

DECSION ON RELEASING FROM DUTY DIRECTOR OF SIPA

 

The Council of Ministers of BIH took a decision on releasing from duty Director of the State Investigation and Protection Agency of Bosnia and Herzegovina Perica Stanić, conclusive with

December 4, 2019, after learning on the end of his term as director of the institution.

In compliance with Article 10 paragraph (1) of the Law on State Investigation and Protection Agency, the responsibilities of director will be assumed by this Deputy until the appointment of a new director.
