The Chairman of the Council of Ministers of BIH talked today with Prime Ministers of Croatia and Montenegro, Zoran Milanović and Milo Đukanović, respectively, and with President of the Government of the Republic of Macedonia Nikola Gurevski and Government members of the Republic of Slovenia on difficult situation in some parts of Bosnia and Herzegovina, affected by floods and landslides. 

All interlocutors gave their support to efforts to assist affected citizens, saying that they will extend all assistance available by all means at their disposal, which is necessary for the threatened citizens.

Chairman Bevanda passed all those information to the Ministry of Security of BIH, competent for coordinating the activities of rescue services.

Late yesterday evening, the Council of Ministers, at a phone session, authorised the Ministry of Security of BIH to ask for international assistance for protection and rescue of citizens due to the emergency situation caused by floods.

The Council of Ministers expresses its gratitude to the neighbours, which, despites extremely difficult situation in their own states, offered and continue to offer assistance to people of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

The Council of Ministers of BIH will follow the satiation and will continue needed activities.
