Chairwoman of Council of Ministers of BIH Borjana Krišto in Meeting with President of European Council Antonio Costa

Chairwoman of the Council of Ministers of Bosnia and Herzegovina Borjana Krišto held a meeting in Sarajevo with President of the European Council Antonio Costa, whom she welcomed, expressing her pleasure for his arrival to an official visit. 

“This meeting represents an extraordinary opportunity to open, though a continuous dialogue with the highest officials of the European Union, all issues of the key importance for our country, especially those referring to our European road, Chairwoman Krišto stressed.

During the meeting, Chairwoman Krišto stressed that the visit by President Costa came in the right moment, enabling Bosnia and Herzegovina and the European Union to send jointly a clear message on European future of our country, which remains the most important foreign policy aim of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

Chairwoman Krišto pointed at political challenges, highlighting the importance of stability and functionality of institutions, which is of the key importance for progress of the country on the European road.

“As Chairwoman of the Council of Ministers, I will always call on dialogue and joint solution-finding for all issues, however difficult and insurmountable they may seem”, Chairwoman Krišto said.

The meeting confirms a permanent dedication of Bosnia and Herzegovina to European future and commitment to continuation of dialogue with all European partners, for the aim of making, as fast as possible, of progress towards a full membership in the European Union. (end)
