Chairwoman of Council of Ministers of BIH Borjana Krišto in Meeting with Minister of European and Foreign Affairs of Republic of Albania

Chairwoman of the Council of Ministers of Bosnia and Herzegovina Borjana Krišto held a meeting in Sarajevo with Minister of European and Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Albania Igli Hasani. 

Chairwoman Krišto welcomed Minister Hasani and his accompanying delegation, emphasising the importance of boosting bilateral relations between Bosnia and Herzegovina and Albania. The bilateral relations between our counties are friendly and without any outstanding issues, and in such ambience, we should strengthen our ties in all areas of joint interest.

The regional cooperation was said to be one of key foreign policy priority of Bosnia and Herzegovina, since it contributes not only to strengthening of bilateral relations, but to economic development of the whole region.

Chairwoman Krišto reiterated and confirmed a full and unambiguous commitment of Bosnia and Herzegovina to membership in the European Union, underlining that it is a long-term aim, which remains the key foreign policy priority of Bosnia and Herzegovina. (end)
