Chairman Zvizdić with President of the European Court for Human Rights Dean Spielmann

Chairman of the Council of Ministers of BIH Dr Denis Zvizdić talked in Strasbourg with President of the European Court for Human Rights Dean Spielmann, to whom he thanked for cooperation, stressing the importance of this judicial institution protecting te human rights in Europe. 

He said that BIH is fully determined for implementation of all rulings of the Court and that it will insist for rights and liberties defined under the Convention to be fully ensured.

They concluded that it is necessary to take measures for prevention of future violations similar to those that have happened.

The meeting was attended by Faris Vahabović, Judge of Bosnia and Herzegovina with the European Court for Human Rights.

Following the meeting, Chairman Zvizdić, BIH Ambassador in the Council of Europe Almir Šaović and Judge Faris Vehabović went to Place de la Republique by tram, which, in the honour of Chairmanship of Bosnia and Herzegovina of the Council of Europe, was decorated by BIH symbols, and which will run through Strasbourg until mid-November, when Bosnia and Herzegovina transfers the Chairmanship to Bulgaria.
