Chairman of the Council of Ministers of BIH Dr Denis Zvizdić met at a working lunch with e a delegation of the Republic of Croatia, led by President of the Republic of Croatia Kolinda Grabar-Kitarović. They discussed the bilateral relations and promotion of cooperation between the two countries. 

Chairman Zvizidć informed Croatian President of the level of realisation of BIH obligations agreed within the European agenda, and expressed his belief that the Republic of Croatia will in future period lobby for Bosnia and Herzegovina to get the EU candidate status as soon as possible.

President Grabar-Kitarović said that the Republic of Croatia is a friend to Bosnia and Herzegovina, that it wants a genuine progress of BIH in its European and NATO integrations. She shared experience of Croatia on that road, saying that BIH membership in the European Union is important for Croatia and that BIH may use positive experiences of the Republic of Croatia.

They agreed that the dialogue between neighbours sharing over one thousand kilometres long border  is the best way for development of good neighbourhood relations and that it may be expected in the period to come to strengthen cooperation to the end of stabilisation of relations between the two countries.

The meeting was attended by Minister of Finance and Treasury of BIH Vjekoslav Bevanda, Minister for Human Rights and Refugees of BIH Semiha Borovac, Minister of Defence of BIH Marina Pendreš, and BIH Ambassador in the Republic of Croatia Renata Paškalj.
