Chairman Zvizdić with IRB President

Chairman of the Council of Ministers of BIH Dr Denis Zvizdić met today with President of the Islamic Development Bank (IDB) Dr. Bandara al Hajjar. 

They discussed the strengthening of business environment and promotion of entrepreneurship in Bosnia and Herzegovina.

Chairman Zvizdić thanked to support to date by the Islamic Development Bank to projects in Bosnia and Herzegovina, and informed director Hajjar of the advantages BIH has, putting an emphasis primarily to the energy, transport, wood procession and special purpose industries and tourism sectors.

Director Hajjar commended the progress of Bosnia and Herzegovina, stressing that the Islamic Development Bank is ready to enhance the cooperation over the future period of time.

President of the IDB Hajjar commended the success of the Sarajevo Business Forum, and stressed that that the Islamic Development Bank is ready to continue, increase and expand cooperation with Bosnia and Herzegovina. He said that it shows an interest expr3essed by a number of funds taking part at today’s Forum.

Chairman Zvizdić highlighted the importance of investments in development of SMEs and start-up companies, which would contribute considerably to job generation for young people and they stay in BIH.

The meeting was attended by president of the BBI Bank Board Amer Bukvić.
